Beasley was killed on or before June 9th, 1944. Captain Miller had chosen Beasley to be part of a squad ordered to rescue a paratrooper behind enemy lines, but was forced to replace him with Private Mellish upon learning that Beasley was already dead. The character of Beasley is not seen in the film. |
