"Juden" is the plural form of the German word for the Jewish people. "Jude" is the singular form. The word "juden" appears in a scene where Private Mellish taunts a group of German prisoners while displaying a Star of David medallion that is attached to his dog tags. It would have been more proper for Mellish to use the singular form of "jude" and not "juden." |
